Steve Ritter formed The Wonders as a touring cover band and corporate party experience. They toured extensively, opening up for many legendary bands, including The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Spinners, The Beach Boys, The Commodores, Three Dog Night, KC and The Sunshine Band, Willie Nelson, Little Big Town, The Pointer Sisters, Donna Summer, Starship, and more.

The band Custom Made was formed in 1986 by Steve Ritter.
Members included Don Townsley, Ron Ward, Richard Theisen, Tricia Tincher(Trixie), Shelley Brandt, and Paula Wallace. After Paula left Nancy Paris joined the group.
